I took the day off, and while I was running errands I made a few thrift and Dollar Tree stops. I ended up scoring a generic lego kit for $2 that had a bunch of Star Wars minis (!!) inside, as well as all the neon Blox sets. The generic kit is a bland military theme, but it has a motorcycle and wheels and a few boring tan minis that could use a paint job.
I googled that to see if there was consensus re: acrylic v. enamel and 1) acrylic and 2) there is a whole world of Lego mini painting out there, which is not really surprising, I just never thought much about it before.
