Every few weeks I go to the local secondhand store and sort through their art books. Some of the best books I’ve found have been unassuming, older books that cost a few bucks. They sell exhibit guides for 35c and you can find some real gems that way. I was rifling through those and found Organic Fiction: Paintings by Hava Gurevich. The exhibition photos are gated at Facebook but you can visit her site hava.biz and she has some of those paintings listed under her new work. She does a lot of nature-inspired organic abstracts. She does not really sell prints or books that I can see, so I feel lucky to have gotten this exhibit guide.
