I have intense periods of cyclical interests, I will be really into a given thing for 6 to 8 months, and then my interest will taper off, usually right around the time a bulk order of relevant supplies arrives or something like that, and then I’ll go off and do other things for a year or so. Apparently I am circling back around to web development and this site.
I also have a tendency to fiddle way too much. To paraphrase an ancient philosopher, I do not ask if I should, only if I could. So I’ve decided if I get an Amazing New Idea (say, microblogging) I will only incorporate what I need at that moment. I’ve incorporated a second blog, and I will worry about pagination, custom themes, etc., if I actually have enough content to warrant it.
