My parents came over for dinner tonight and dutifully delivered a letter from my high school alumni. I thought it was going to be a donation solicitation but instead it was an invite to our 20-year reunion. I was mildly surprised for some reason, I guess I assumed they had already gotten together earlier in the year, and I’ve been incommunicado for, well, twenty years.
